Hosting a cookout or get together for our nation’s birthday party? Not sure what tracks are must haves for your playlist? Well, look no further! I have compiled a small list of current pop hits and blast from the past tracks that are sure to make your party a hit!
Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus

I feel as though this song by Miley Cyrus is a given for any summer playlist, but sometimes we need to be reminded of those “sing at the top of your lungs” songs we used to love so dearly. Party in the USA is feel good song with a quick tempo that is sure to get any party going.
Born in the USA by Bruce Springsteen

This one is self-explanatory. Although this one is before my time I can’t help but feel like it has been an Independence Day celebration song my whole life. Why should this year be any different?
Firework by Katy Perry

This is an oldie but a goodie. And by “old” I mean 2010. It’s one of those songs that was a great hit but has gotten lost in the mix of newly released music. Let’s bring it back this Fourth of July!
Made in the USA by Demi Lovato

This track has nothing to do with the Fourth of July other than the title. However, it’s just so upbeat and fun that I couldn’t resist adding it to this list. You be the judge.
Surfin' USA by The Beach Boys

Now I won’t lie to you: this song is not on my everyday Spotify list, but when it comes on I can’t help but sing along. I think your get-together will thank you if you add this one to your party playlist!
